The Tanglewood is the perfect setting for your special event. The beautiful architecture and scenery provide the perfect backdrop for lasting memories. The exposed brick walls, original tin ceiling, post and beam construction, 1900s freight elevator, and historic charm paired with modern amenities provide the backdrop for a memorable event.
Weddings, Reunions, Corporate Events, and more
The Tanglewood can accommodate up to 200 seated guests for indoor events. The courtyard can accommodate an additional 60 guests.
Event Packages
Event packages provide you with the exclusive and private use of The Tanglewood for 48 hours, including six beautiful hotel rooms to accommodate up to 18 guests for two nights. Weekend packages are for noon on Friday to noon on Sunday. Weekday packages are for noon on Tuesday to noon on Thursday.

Event Package Rental includes exclusive use of the following:
- Newly renovated theater ballroom and buggy shop, plus courtyard
- Tables and chairs with one set-up and one tear down of tables and chairs in your desired configuration (for indoor use only)
- 20 6-foot round tables – each seat 10 guests
- 9 6-foot rectangle tables for buffet, gifts, etc.
- 200 champagne gold Chivari chairs
- Audio system for ceremony and/or dinner music with microphone
- Bar – renter to provide any alcohol and bartender in accordance with Indiana laws
- Prep kitchen for caterer
- Modern, ADA-accessible restrooms
- Bridal party lounge and dressing room with 4 hair and makeup stations
- 6 hotel rooms for 2 nights to accommodate up to 18 individuals (with 2 in every bed type)
- 5 second floor rooms, no elevator
- 1 handicap-accessible king-bedroom on the 1st floor

Single Day Events
Venue-only offerings provide private use of the first-floor event space, while the hotel rooms are rented to other guests who will be entering and exiting through the lobby areas.
